Artist statement

I am inspired by the natural world and work in multiple mediums including botanic materials, specialty and hand painted tyvek papers often  folded utilizing the “art of connected origami cranes” called renzuru (inspired by a Japanese monk 1000 years ago), resin, and photography.  In addition, my home studio is surrounded by a large garden with several “art installations” along walking paths.  Families and children encouraged, please leave pets at home.
